Bringing Dharma to Czech Readers

We ensure the translation and publication of Dharma books in the Czech language.

In 2017, together with the Gomez family from the International Institute for Tibetan and Asian Studies (ITAS), we agreed to financially support the project of translating the collected works of the Karmapas. This decision led to the establishment of Nala Publishing. Through our publishing house, we bring titles in the fields of spiritual development, Buddhism, and traditional Tibetan medicine to the Czech audience.

Our team of translators and proofreaders actively seeks suitable titles that help Czech readers navigate the rich array of texts on Buddhism and develop wisdom and understanding of Eastern thought.

The Turquoise Path

The art of good karma according to the spiritual tradition of Tibetan medicine

This book was translated and published in collaboration with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, a teacher of Tibetan medicine.

In the book, Dr. Nida explains the spiritual practice of Yuthok Nyingthig (Ngöndro Yuthok Nyingthig), and it primarily serves as a tool for ATTM students studying traditional Tibetan medicine.

Buddha of Compassion - Commentary on Chenrezig Meditation by Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche

This book is among the first translations published by Nala Publishing. It develops compassion and wisdom and leads beings out of the suffering of conditioned existence.

The correct way to meditate is explained in this book by the renowned Buddhist teacher Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, who is considered by many to be the embodiment of the Buddha of compassion – Chenrezig. The book provides explanations of a popular meditation in the form practiced in the East, in Tibet and Nepal, and is also a concise introduction to the fundamentals of Tibetan Buddhism.

The Works of the Karmapas

The collection of works by the Karmapas, masters of the Tibetan teaching of the Great Seal (Skt. Mahamudra), gathered in the archive at Karma Guen, comprises 1369 texts in 108 volumes.

The translation and analysis of these works will make rare teachings accessible to the general public and provide valuable information to researchers around the world. The translation team consists of practicing Buddhists with academic education in philosophy, Tibetan, Indian, and Buddhist studies, and graduates of the Institute of Tibetan and Asian Studies (ITAS).
